Star Trek film 11, all about Kirk and Spock's early days: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/6407135.stm

Captain Kirk has just informed me of a special event taking place November 14 in Hollywood. At Mann’s Gourman’s Chinese Theatre, The Story Maker’s Studio will present Star Trek’s 40th Anniversary Celebration at 7:30 p.m.

Through interviews taped in front of a live audience, The Story Makers Studio tells the story of how a particular film got made as told by the people who made it. Our interviews are with Hollywood's biggest, brightest directors, actors, writers and producers - LIVE AND UNSCRIPTED.

The evening features a special excerpt from Rod Roddenberry’s upcoming documentary “Trek Nation,” a rare big screen showing of “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” and a panel discussion featuring Majel Barrett Roddenberry (Luwaxana Troi), Rod Roddenberry, and Nicholas Meyer, director of “The Wrath of Khan.”

Come in character. Make sure all species are represented.

Tickets are available at the Chinese Theatre box office and online here.

The first 100 people to buy tickets through this site will receive special 40th Anniversary memorabilia from Roddenberry.com

No Trekker will want to miss out on this show. But if you’re not able to “boldly go” to Hollywood on the 14th, there is another way for you to join in this celebration.

The panel discussion will be videotaped and placed on streaming video.

Buying it on Pay Per View is the next best thing to being there. It’s only $5.97 and will be available at the end of November. But you can sign up for it today!

Go to http://www.stiylagency.com today to order your tickets for the live event or reserve your exclusive online viewing pass today.

Star Trek fulfilled its mission “To boldly go where no one has gone before.” Now it’s up to us to preserve that legacy. Order your tickets or online viewing pass today at http://www.stiylagency.com

Are there any Trekkies in Aberdeen or the North East area, that could give advice to some 16-25 year olds who are giving a presentation in the style of Star Trek for their Princes Trust Presentation in Peterhead during December 2002.
If so email joforbes@education.aberdeen.net.uk.

Paramount Pictures has given "Star Trek: Nemesis" the greenlight to head into production at warp speed. Director Stuart Baird ("U.S. Marshals") begins shooting the 10th installment of the sci-fi series in November from a script by John Logan, co-writer of "Gladiator." A autum 2003 release date is planned. The previous installment, "Star Trek: Insurrection," hit theaters in 1998.

The new picture is expected once again to feature the crew of the "Star Trek: Next Generation" television series and cast of the last three films in the franchise, including Patrick Stewart as Capt. Jean-Luc Picard.

I have finaly had enough of Tentex and so I am starting to transfer my site over to a new host. Also Starbase51 is now also registered as www.starbase51.co.uk as well as the old www.starbase51.com.

17 July 2000
Well, we are back, after 10 days without a database we are finaly back up and running. Thank you Tentex, what took so long, did the sticky tape holding it all together get un-stuck?

12 July 2000
The company who hosts Starbase51 and who we pay reasonable amounts for are out of disk space, and they aren't doing anything about it.
This is causing the databases not to work, so I apologise for any errors you may get whilst viewing.
May I take this opportunity to advise you that if you were looking for a host for you site please do not use Tentex as there support is second to none in the naff stakes. I have already waited 5 days for then to sort it out, not even an email to say why it's taking so long.
Anyway, enough of my moaning, I hope you enjoy the bits you can see.
